Terms and Conditions

Manly Travel Show 2007 Competition Conditions of Entry.

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is only open to people who attend the Manly Travel Show 2007 at the Grand Ballroom, Manly Pacific Hotel, 55 North Steyne, Manly NSW 2095 on February 10th, 2007.
3. Entries must comply with these Conditions of Entry to be valid.
4. Only one entry per visitor is allowed (except for those visitors who register via the website – see point 7). Entrants who submit more than one entry will be disqualified.
5. Promotion commences 10am EDST on 10.02.07 and closes 4pm EDST on 10.02.07. The draws will take place at 10am EDST on 15.02.07 at Travel Media Group, 27 Belgrave St, Manly NSW 2095. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners will be notified by telephone and mail..
6. Entry to the competition is by completing an entry form at the venue on 10.02.06. These will be placed in a barrel and drawn at random. Only one prize per entrant will be awarded.
7. Extra entry in prize draw by registering on website: Competition entrants who attend the Manly Travel Show 2007 and also register on the website (www.travelshow.com.au) to attend the event before 10.02.07 will receive an extra entry in the prize draw. Visitors must fill out an entry form on arrival at the venue to receive the bonus entry. This bonus entry will be added to the barrel before the draw on 15.02.07. Entrants who register via the website but do not attend the event will not be eligible to enter the draw.
8. Prizes to be given away in prize draw include:
   - Economy class tickets to New Zealand flying Emirates.
   - Faces of Bali hotel package.
   - 4 days accommodation, Home Valley Station.
   - 5 days campervan hire.
   - 3 night Barrier Reef cruise.
   - 2 nights accommodation, Tower Hill.
   - 2 nights accommodation, Tangalooma Resort.
   - 2 nights accommodation Sebel Manly.
   - Sydney Harbour Cruise.
   
9. Additionally, a prize of one case (12 bottles) of Margaret River red wine, valued at $900, will be awarded at random to one person who books a holiday and pays a deposit at the event on 10.02.07. This booking must be made with an official staff member of Harvey World Travel Manly or Harvey World Travel Mosman at the designated booking desk at the front of the venue. All visitors who meet these conditions will automatically be entered in the competition, which will be drawn separately on the same date and venue as the main prize draw. Winner will be notified by telephone and mail. A receipt or other proof of purchase may be required to verify entry.
10. Total prize value of all prizes given away by game of chance components to this promotion is valued at $9800. Prize, or any unused portion of a prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values
12. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
13. It is the entrants’ responsibility to ensure that their contact details, including postal details, are correct at the time of entry. Any costs associated with accessing the website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
14. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and subject to any written direction given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.
17. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition which may occur in the course of the administration of this competition.
18. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for: tampering with the entry process; acting in violation of these terms and conditions; acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or acting with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
19. All entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
20. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of participating providers. Some reasonable travel restrictions may apply on travel prizes. Some travel prizes are accommodation only and do not include airfares or other transport to the destination.
21. In the event that a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize in their sole discretion, to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various lottery Departments.
22. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 15.04.07 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date. In the event of any winners in the unclaimed prize draw, they will be notified by mail.
23. Promoter reserves the right to conduct security verification check at its absolute discretion. Prize winners may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize.
24. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below.
25. Employees of Travel Media Group and Harvey World Travel (Manly & Mosman) and their family members are ineligible to enter. Employees (and their family members) of any company exhibiting at the event or providing goods or services to the event are also ineligible.
